The Israel Security Agency:
Sherut Habitachon Klali (Shabak). Founded in 1948 with the Israeli declaration of independence. The equivalent of the FBI in the USA. In charge of counterespionage and counterterrorism in Israel. It is also responsible for various internal security affairs such as protection of dignitaries, government officials and various ‘sensitive’ buildings.

1924-1965
The oldest intelligence organization after the foundation of the state of Israel. It's main mission is to gather and supply intelligence to the government and IDF on a daily basis and during wartime. It tracks military as well as terrorist activities using human and technological means. It is also responsible for cross border reconnaissance operations.
